Ya son dos años sin ella... Two years now without her...

Today is February 02, 2017

Two years today without Linda…

We will not pray for her. Her situation could not be better than it is… save for the joining of her spirit with her glorified body in the Resurrection. The same applies to all believers in Jesus Christ and the efficacious shedding of His blood -once for all time- for the remission of our sin.

We will not pray to her… just as we do not pray to any saint already in heaven (including the earthly mother of Jesus). The only prayers that God “hears” are made in the name of Jesus Christ.

We will not pay to have a single Mass said for her. Are her sins not already paid for? Is she not, since the moment she drew her last breath, in the presence of God?

Yes, we will give God thanks… for her life and for the years that He loaned her to us… for the memories and for the legacy that she left in our children and many others.

Yes, we will pray -in Jesus’ name- for our personal testimony before every human being… and for our talk, that it be to proclaim the good news of a perfect Savior, who offers so great a salvation… and eternal.

That would be the best way to honor Linda.

Yes...! As of July 5, 2020, my book is now available on Amazon.com.
It's a new book about an old problem: the cross and the crown… the Gospel and politics… do they mix? Should they mix?
If my words generate some reflection and healthy conversation—as in more light and less heat—I will be satisfied.
