Amados hermanos mexicanos... Beloved Mexican brethren...

  • cómo aman a Jesús…

With every day that I am not with you, I miss you more.

In part, it could be the food, the tropical climate, or the human warmth that you radiate… but the reasons are deeper.

Two thirds of my life… in other words, practically all of my adult life, I have lived among you. The mark you have left on me is undeniable… it will never be erased.

¿My forever friends? You.

But what I want to share with you now is what I have been saying on my recent travels.

I have been visiting churches where missionaries are taken seriously as God’s workers, too. They ask about our brethren in Christ in Cancun and surrounding areas. They want to know what God is doing in other parts of the world. They are concerned about the health of our congregations. They rejoice to hear our testimonies of how we were reached by the Gospel. They offer to help in any way they can.

Each time I am invited to teach or preach, I put you to the fore as an example of the living grace of God. I simply talk about:
  • how you love Jesus…
  • how you cared for us during Linda’s final years…
  • how you open your hearts and homes to study and to evangelize…
  • how you care about seeing new congregations established…

It’s more than pride… it’s pure joy… the joy of sharing in this wonderful spiritual and eternal life that God grants to any person who repents and yields to the Lord Jesus Christ as savior and master.

Thank you for being who you are. Thank you for your testimony for Jesus. You can always count on my prayers…

"But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."  1 Peter 2:9

Yes...! As of July 5, 2020, my book is now available on Amazon.com.
It's a new book about an old problem: the cross and the crown… the Gospel and politics… do they mix? Should they mix?
If my words generate some reflection and healthy conversation—as in more light and less heat—I will be satisfied.
